My cousin got married in Helsinki on the last day of June this year and I was there as one of her bridesmaids. It was my first overseas trip outside of London which was quite exciting and I had so much fun during the whole entire trip!
It was comforting to see family and friends from Sydney halfway across the world, speaking in Korean and also eating kimchi jji-gae with pork ribs that my 큰엄마 (Aunt) made for us. Bless her.

Paris Photo Diary - July

These are photos from my first trip ever to Paris in July this year.
I will be on the Eurostar tomorrow morning for my third trip to Paris, again for work. To add onto that, I'm going again in October with my Mum for leisure. I plan to visit the Versailles, do more sightseeing and actually go inside the Notre Dame and Louvre with her (I've only taken photos outside it).

Wow, if I could go back and tell myself back in January that I would be going to Paris four times within four months, I would never have believed it. Feeling blessed.

Paris Evenings

I am finally getting around to posting photos from my travels outside of London. Coming from Australia, it is truly amazing for me that a 1-2 hour flight can take me to a completely different country and culture. You see, back in Oz, that will take me to either Brisbane or Melbourne (no disparity there).
London is the perfect hub to travel around Europe and I have a schedule until New Years (see Categories to see my upcoming trips). Can't wait to plan more for 2015.

Back in July, I went to Paris for the first time on a work trip and my two favourite sites were Sacré-Cœur Basilica and, of course, the iconic Eiffel Tower. More to come!

Hampstead Heath, London

One must visit Hampstead Heath, the most well-known parks in London. I hardly ever venture out to West London. There is a famous crepe shop called Le Creperie de Hampstead that people who live in West Hampstead have been telling me about.

I am at the onset of catching a cold. I spent my Saturday in bed all day, watching series and changing the layout of this blog to something more minimalistic with menus at the top. There's a bit more tweaking to do but overall I'm happy with it.

Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn

Goodbye to people sprawled in parks to soak up the sun, barbecues, Pimm's, pop-up stalls and sunshine until 9pm.

Golden Half fun in London

I purchased a Golden Half camera a few months ago and this is the first test roll of random scenes around London. It's a fun little camera, plus you get double the images for the price of one roll. I developed six more rolls from other film cameras and it cost me £70! Ridiculously expensive. As a result, I used my digital X100S camera during my trip to Prague, Amsterdam, Madrid and Barcelona. Posts from my trip to be up soon, as well as the film photos!

My mum is visiting during mid-October where I will show her around London and also plan a trip to Edinburgh and Paris. In November, I will be in Bruges and then I have my Christmas and New Years trip to plan. I'm thinking Vienna, Swiss Alps, Budapest or Berlin with a snowboarding trip.
It's full steam ahead for my plan to travel once a month.
