Buckingham Palace & Green Park

Blogging was the last thing on my mind in the past 4 weeks (can't believe it's been a month now) as I was trying set everything up, job search, find a place, etc. However, now that is all well and over! I'll be starting my new job in ten days and I'm slowly getting my bearings around London. Apart from that, I've visited lots of places within London while I try to enjoy this free time before working full-time!

I went to Create Camden Festival yesterday and participated in a photography workshop by Getty Images. It was just so much fun listening to all the talks on photography and going on the photo walks where we were given mini-assignments and then asked to submit our favourite images for a chance to win a prize. They picked mine as Top 3 and I got a free magazine and photo book! It was so exciting because it was my first time to ever win a *prize* for my photo. The most important thing that I got out of the workshop, however, was in-spuh-ray-shon. Yes, I was inspired again. I want to take better photos where I consider composition, lighting, shapes, people, colour, lines and all the elements that make a photo interesting. Since arriving in London, I've been clicking on the shutter like a madman - trying to document everything I see without giving all the above any thought. It was perfect timing! I also found a place to develop my film photos, though I have no problem using my X100S. I'll take my camera everywhere I go, either with my film or digital, depending on my mood. Can't wait!

For now, I'll share some good, solid tourist photos of Buckingham Palace and Green Park.

    1. Past month has been quite sunny except for a few days actually! It rains now and then but it's sunny again this weekend. I'm expecting winter to be grey and depressing though~
