We went to a random bar for a few drinks but it was filled with youngins (probably 17 or 18 y.o). Young as in boys-paying-for-drinks-with-their-velcro-wallets :'D

San Sebastian beaches
Although we went during winter, the sun was out on our second day and we had the chance to enjoy a walk along the beach. I'm told that during summer it is PACKED with visitors.

Las Vegas from dawn to dusk
We were in Las Vegas for Christmas 2015!
The place is overwhelming with all the lights and people. My whole US trip felt like a movie set tour.
Things we did at Las Vegas:
- Stayed at Bellagio
- Bellagio and Caesar Palace
- Gordon Ramsay's Burgr
- Bellagio Buffet (we waited 2 hours on Christmas Day...)
- Bellagio Fountain show
- Gambled USD20: I lost all of it, RH won $20!
There's a folder filled with my mobile photos from this trip which I haven't gone around to filtering. Another reason why I prefer to take film photos - I tend to take a photos like a madman with digital, ending up with a daunting amount of photos to go through. Whereas with film I am limited and only press on the shutter button when I'm certain I want to record it.

Venice Beach & Santa Monica
Now that I've updated the Oct and Nov 2015 weekend stories, I will start posting photos from my USA trip (17 Dec 2015 to 3 Jan 2016).
It was such a fun trip. I would definitely want to go back to explore other US cities.
LA, to be honest, was a bit disappointing. There wasn't much to see except for the beaches and maybe Hollywood (wasn't as glitzy as I thought it would be). We stayed near K-Town and other than the amazing Korean food we devoured, the place itself wasn't picturesque. I was told K-Town is like Seoul two decades ago and that you definitely need a local and a car. We had neither. That could be why.
Oh, but the best thing was California Donuts which was literally around the corner, 3 min walk, and it was hands-down the best donuts I've ever tasted.
A separate post for that later.

(W-34) Trolltunga - The Ascent
Five years ago, I vowed never to hiking after climbing Mt. Fuji.
It was that physically and mentally traumatising.
I decided to give it another go and seeing I'm in Europe, I should atleast do one hike.
Well, here are some photos at none other than Trolltunga (a.k.a Troll's Tongue) in Norway.
Verdict?
It was incredible.
Compared to Mt. Fuji where you climb up during night time,
on this hike, you are able to enjoy the most scenic views the whole time.
We arrived Friday night and drove for 4 hours to our accommodation.
After 3 hours of sleep, we drove another hour to the base.
Not to mention, JP and I both packed heaps of food (10kgs of food and drinks anyone?)
We thought of this hike as a picnic, you know, stopping along the way, sharing food with the group.
No, you do not do this on a 10-hour hike.
Ha! Well, you learn.
Enough talk/writing - here are the photos of the ascent!
Our Airbnb
In front of our accommodation. Getting ready to drive to the base.
The first 1km was the WORST. SO PAINFUL. I even contemplated on walking back down.
Fortunately, fellow hikers informed us that it will get better after the first km.
Out of breath, enjoying the view.
We were lucky with the weather!
Ah...another incline.
The awesome group!
I thought I was walking on a movie set. Unbelievably beautiful views.
The last 1km!!!!!!!!!!!
Next post - on the tip of Trolltunga!
