We also went to the Auschwitz Concentration Camp whilst in Krakow. Harrowing and horrific. It was to a scale that I could not fathom, such an extremist regime I cannot and will never comprehend. The fear and despair each single innocent person must have went through as I saw the piles of discarded bags, glasses, shoes, locks of hair...

The food, Polish cuisine, is underrated. I was pleasantly surprised!
Particularly for the value and quality.
Oh those oven Pierogi, how I miss you. The £2 succulent, meat-fall-off-bone ribs, where are you in my life? A beautiful, genuine city enriched in history and great food.
