Szimpla Kert, our last night in Budapest

Szimpla Kert

Visited a Ruin Bar on our last night.
This place was recommended to me by everyone who has been to Budapest.
I can see why -  it was one of the coolest bars I have been to!

We took photos at this booth!

After a few drinks too many, we stumbled across a pub with karoake.
My thought process was 'I'll never see these people again anyway', resulting in ridiculous videos of us letting loose, releasing our inner Eminem... no shame.

Széchenyi Thermal Baths, Budapest

Admittedly it was too warm to go to a thermal bath. It was almost 35 degrees the day before but on this day it was around mid-20s so we decided to go for a dip for the experience. I would love to go again in the middle of winter!

Borkonyha Wine Kitchen, Budapest

A Michelin-star restaurant

I had the the dish with veal cheek and red wine (sorry, I don't remember the exact name).
This dish was exceptional. The meat melted in my mouth and the sauce was full of flavour.
My friends also enjoyed their meals. It was so cheap for a michelin-star restaurant. Best value ever.

The bridge linking Buda and Pest
We stumbled across a band performing. We took a break and had a siesta on that patch of grass.
The yellow building is a 500 year-old bath (we didn't get to visit that one).

Budpest photo diary continued.
