This was my favourite. Forgot the name but it  was fish that you grill yourself.

Two days of pure gluttony.
San Sebastian - a place where you literally eat, sleep and drink. That is exactly what we did for the 2 days we were there. My kind of holiday.

Weekend Stories (W-39): London Korean Festival 2015

8-9 August 2015

Brunch before our bike ride to Trafalgar Square for the London Korean Festival.
We went solely for the food but we decided to skip the food due to the ridiculously long line.
The contemporary and traditional performances were impressive nonetheless!
Getting in touch with my motherland in London :)

Borkonyha Wine Kitchen, Budapest

A Michelin-star restaurant

I had the the dish with veal cheek and red wine (sorry, I don't remember the exact name).
This dish was exceptional. The meat melted in my mouth and the sauce was full of flavour.
My friends also enjoyed their meals. It was so cheap for a michelin-star restaurant. Best value ever.

I forgot to post these photos from May in Paris.
Basically a collection of food photos, complete gluttony, as you do in Paris.

Breakfast in Airbnb Lisbon

Breakfast courtesy of the travel mate chef :)
I tried to make the scrambled eggs myself but it just wasn't as tasty.

Also, for travel accommodation, I cannot recommend Airbnb enough! It's the way to go.

Breakfast in bed

Breakfast in bed

I'm more productive when I work from home. It probably only highlights my hermit, introverted nature.
I have moments where I feel guilty for staying inside my room for too long when I'm in a vibrant city like London where there is always something to do. I could call a friend out and do something. I could go out to explore the city on my own alone but that's when I want company because I get bored after some time.

What to do, what to do...

The famous Duck & Waffle - but the house bread was much more memorable. I would say it was the best bread I've had in my life so far! I should post up photos of the view but I left my hard drive in my room (currently posting this from my hotel in Paris). Shall edit this post when I go back.

I had to book a month in advance to make sure I'd be able to take my mum here when she was visiting. She loved it, though we had swap seats because she was getting dizzy from the view. Great ambiance, food and service. Highly recommend it!

Taking a break from posting my 2014 Europe trip photos on the blog, here are some snaps of Maltby Street Market. This inconspicuous market is not as well-known as Borough Market, attracting more locals than tourists, so if you want to avoid battling through crowds on a weekend, this is the place to go. There is a good selection of food stalls and antique shops open on Saturday and Sundays. I recommend going on a Saturday to try to the burger at African Volcano. It is heavenly.
